Anyone Can Take With Confidence

Go With the Strength - I Always Say

Many experienced touring companies conduct tag-alongs and fully-catered tours specialising in Simpson crossings as well as other exciting routes on the Australian map. Links to some of these operators appear on the side-bars within this French Line site. I have chosen these links because I know the operators personally or have good reports about them. New chums to 4WDriving will do well to begin outback touring with totally-supportive outfits such as these.

So it was that on 7th July, 2003 I joined one of the country's leading tag-along tour operators, Vic Widman and his company Great Divide Tours on an epic journey across the Simpson Desert, commemorating the 40th anniversary year of my party's construction of the French Line across the Simpson Desert.

On this page, I intend to post the wares, schedules and general info of other tagalong operators as I get to know about them and their offers and opportunities. If there is someone you would like to propose and recommend, let me know. Give me your Trek notes and I'll give you my reasoned response.
